Lemon Shortbread Christmas Cookies

Lemon Shortbread Christmas Cookies are loaded in lemon flavor and are the perfect holiday treat!

  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1/2 Unsalted Softened Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Raw Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Grapeseed Oil


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl,
  2. Add vanilla extract, almond extract, lemon juice, grapeseed oil and mix with an electric mixer.
  3. In another bowl add flour, cinnamon, salt and mix.
  4. Combine wet and dry mixes and gently spoon the mixes.
  5. On a well floured surface place and form dough into a ball. Refrigerate dough for one hour.
  6. On a well floured surface roll dough into a disc.
  7. Cut cookies out with decorative holiday cutters and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool before serving.
  9. Dip cookies in melted chocolate for extra pizazz!
