This Paleo-Friendly Grilled Steak is a delicious and simple recipe that’s perfect for outdoor grilling or a quick weeknight dinner. Made with a flavorful herb marinade, this steak is juicy, tender, and completely free of non-paleo ingredients, making it ideal for a clean-eating lifestyle.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE STEAK
  • 4 medium-sized steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • OPTIONAL PALEO-FRIENDLY SIDES
  • Grilled asparagus
  • Sweet potato wedges
  • Fresh garden salad

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Place the steaks in a large resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for a deeper flavor).

Heat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking

Remove the steaks from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time based on your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature is 130°F for medium-rare or 140°F for medium.
