This Steak Salad with Balsamic Glaze is the perfect balance of hearty and healthy, offering tender slices of seared steak atop a bed of crisp greens and vibrant vegetables. Drizzled with a rich, tangy balsamic glaze, this dish is a feast for the senses—perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an impressive lunch. High in protein and full of flavor, this salad is as satisfying as it is nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb rib eye or sirloin steak
  • 4 cups mixed greens (arugula, spinach, or your choice)
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

In a small saucepan, bring the balsamic vinegar to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let it cook down until it thickens and reduces by half, about 8-10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
