Easy Crispy Honey Chilli Chicken is a quick, low-carb, keto friendly dish perfect for lunch or dinner. If following a low-carb lifestyle pair this with veggies like broccoli or spinach and cauliflower rice. It always pairs well with rice–white or brown, or a baked sweet potato.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz chicken wings, split at the joint
  • ½ cup potato starch
  • ⅛ tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp ground white pepper
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup banana ketchup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Combine olive oil, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, honey, banana ketchup, soy sauce, and sesame seeds in a medium bowl.

Mix well until thoroughly combined and set aside.

Combine potato starch, turmeric powder, ground nutmeg, dried thyme, ground white pepper, dried oregano, smoked paprika, and salt in a mixing bowl; mix well.

Place and toss to coat the chicken well.

Divide the coated chicken and fry until golden in hot vegetable oil.

Place the cooked chicken in a mixing bowl for the meantime.

Continue the frying process with the remaining coated chicken.

Once done, drizzle the fried chicken with spicy honey garlic sauce.

Toss to coat the chicken evenly.

Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately.
