Glazed Classic Meatloaf
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz lean ground turkey
- 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sweet onions, finely minced
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1/2 cup unsweetened ketchup
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp maple syrup
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, ground beef, rolled oats, chopped parsley, beaten eggs, half of the unsweetened ketchup, oyster sauce, salt, and ground black pepper.
Mix until thoroughly combined.
Transfer the mixture into 9 inches by 5 inches loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake the meatloaf for 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Meanwhile, combine all the remaining ingredients and brush on the top side of the meatloaf.
Continue roasting for another 35 minutes.
Let it rest for 10 minutes before turning upside down.
