Spicy Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are the perfect appetizer for low carb, keto lifestyles. These are are healthier than traditionally fried wings, and are made with all natural ingredients. Serve these at parties and events to wow your guests with flavor and spice.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz chicken wings, split at the joint
  • ½ cup potato starch
  • ⅛ tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp ground white pepper
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp sliced red chilies

Instructions

Place olive oil, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, chilies, and vegetable broth in a saucepan.

Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce to simmer for 10 minutes or until it becomes soupy.

Transfer to a small bowl and set it aside.

Preheat the air fryer at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.

Combine potato starch, turmeric powder, ground nutmeg, dried thyme, ground white pepper, dried oregano, smoked paprika, and salt in a mixing bowl; mix well.

Place and toss to coat the chicken well.

Divide the coated chicken and place it on the air fryer basket.

Air fry for 15 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Then flip the wings over and continue air frying for the same temperature for 7 minutes.

Remove the air-fried chicken and place it in a cleaned bowl.

Continue the air frying process with the remaining coated chicken.

Once done, drizzle the air-fried chicken with spicy honey garlic sauce.

Toss to coat the chicken evenly.

Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Serve immediately.
